About us
Southampton is home. England is yours to explore.
We're here to make your time in England easier, more personal and a lot more enjoyable.

Why I started this.
I live in Southampton. I've spent around 15 years working in the cruise industry, so I've seen this city from both sides — as a place where ships arrive and depart, and as a local who knows the city and everything around it.
Over the years I've watched passengers step off a ship with the same questions running through their heads. Where do we go? What can we realistically see? What do we do with our luggage? How do we get to London? Where should we eat? And how do we make sure we're back in time?
I've also seen that many cruise passengers don't necessarily want another organised excursion. Sometimes they simply want someone local who knows what they're talking about.
That's the gap this business is designed to fill. I don't want to sell you a tour. I want to help you have a great day in England.
— Ross Saunders, founder
I've spent years understanding the cruise world.
Around 15 years of my career has been spent in the cruise industry, working with some of the best-known names at sea. That isn't about name-dropping — it's about what it means for you.
I understand how cruise days work. I understand how quickly a simple plan can become stressful when you're working around a ship's schedule. I know Southampton's terminals, the practical realities of getting passengers ashore, and the importance of allowing enough time to get back.
That knowledge is something you can't get from a generic tour website.
This isn't just somewhere we operate.
It's home.
Southampton isn't simply a service area to us — the local knowledge is what makes this business useful. Google tells you what's popular. A local tells you what's actually worth doing.
Think of me as your friend in port.
You don't need a guide following you around all day. You don't need to have your entire itinerary worked out before you arrive. And you don't need to spend hours researching Southampton on the internet.
You just need someone local you can ask.
- Ask for recommendations
- Get help planning your day
- Explore independently
- Use a personalised map
- Stay connected on WhatsApp
- Get help when plans change
- Meet back up later
- Ask questions throughout the day
Independent when you want to be. Supported when you need us.

We don't think you need another tour company.
Many cruise excursions are designed around moving large groups of people through a fixed itinerary. This business is different — your time, your interests and your preferences come first.
Some guests want Stonehenge, history, countryside, food, pubs, shopping, photography or architecture. Others simply want to say: “Show me something beautiful and get me back to the ship on time.”
Both are completely valid. This business exists to create the right experience for you — not the average guest.
We won't follow you around all day.
Seriously.
If you'd rather explore Salisbury on your own, we'll get you there, give you our favourite spots, make sure you know where to meet us and let you enjoy it.
Want to explore together? Great. Want some time to yourselves? Absolutely. Want a bit of both? That's probably the sweet spot.
We're there when you need us — not because you have to be with us every minute.
Free WhatsApp advice — directly from me.
When you contact us, you're not entering a complicated booking system. You're starting a conversation — directly with me.
Quick questions, personal recommendations, flexible planning, changes on the day, honest local advice. That's what WhatsApp is for, and it's a free, no-obligation way to ask anything before or during your visit.
Ask even if you never book anything. I'm genuinely happy to help.
It's the little things.
This business is designed around removing the small sources of friction from your day ashore. The things that seem small are often the things guests remember.
- A local phone with data for the day
- A personalised map of your day
- A power bank when you need one
- WhatsApp access throughout
- Honest local recommendations
- Luggage assistance
- Practical, straight answers
- Weather-aware planning
- An eye on your ship's departure
What we believe
Local beats generic
Real local knowledge is worth more than another list from Google.
Your day should be yours
We adapt around you rather than forcing you into a fixed itinerary.
Simple is better
You shouldn't need to coordinate ten different suppliers to enjoy one day in England.
Personal matters
You should know who you're dealing with.
Small by design.
We're not trying to become the biggest tour company in Southampton. We'd rather be the company people remember because someone genuinely looked after them.
Coming to Southampton?
Tell us about your cruise, how much time you've got and what you'd like to experience. If you don't know yet, that's fine too.
